Woodlawn’s Hot Lunch program is run entirely by parent volunteers. They work with our catering company, compile menus, communicate with the system administrator, assist parents with lunch related inquiries, and schedule lunch volunteers every day. Apple A Day Catering will provide food for us this year and be the administrator for the ordering system.
Online Menu will be posted in August for the 2017-18 school year.
Welcome to Apple A Day Catering's lunch ordering site. We hope you will find ordering lunches to be easy and intuitive. You will find below step-by-step instructions for getting started.
Enter your Children
- Click on the Student tab (top of screen).
- Click +Add a Student.
- Select the school your child attends from the drop down list.
- Select your child’s Grade/Teacher.
- Enter your child’s name and click Submit.
- Click on the Order tab (top of screen) and select the child you wish to order for.
- Advance the calendar to the month you want to view.
Families with multiple Students may order for each Student by highlighting each name. The names are listed on the upper left hand side of the screen. You may order and pay for all Students at once. You do not need to log in and out for each Student.
Once you have made your selections and are happy with your order, it's time to pay. Click on the Review Order button, in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. The next screen to appear will show you a summary of which lunches you bought for whom. When you have reviewed your order and are satisfied, click Pay Now. If you review your order and see a change you would like to make, click Change.
After you click Pay Now, you will be sent to a secure checkout page, where you will finish your transaction by entering your credit card information.
You will want to make sure you have your correct email address on file. In the event that you forget your Hot Lunch Account password, your email address is used to ensure your identity in the password resetting process. We do not store a human readable version of your password in our system, so please do not contact Apple A Day Catering. to retrieve your password. Instead, use the "Forgot my Password" link on the sign in page.

Menu items can be ordered up to two full days before the day the meal is to be delivered. You can order for Monday up to midnight Friday. Order for Tuesday up to midnight Saturday and so on. After the ordering cutoff, the regular menu items for that day will not appear on the order calendar. However an abbreviated menu of "Emergency Meals" will appear for ordering. These items will be available up until 6 am the morning of the meal. After that, only the next day's Emergency Meals will appear. If there is no school lunch on a given day, no items will appear for ordering.
You may cancel a meal any time you like within the same time limits as ordering. If you want to change an order, just cancel an item, then choose another. In the case of a cancellation, a credit balance will be automatically issued. Then, upon your next order, that amount will be credited toward the balance of that order.
There is a tutorial video on the home screen which explains the ordering process if you wish to view it. However, we think you will find it quite straightforward.
