Attend a Personal Open House
Come discover the power of project-based learning. We have redesigned our Open Houses to meet COVID safety precautions while being tailored to the needs of your family! Our Personal Open Houses are designed in three simple steps.
Step One: Family Visit
Register for your personal open house visit - select weekend dates and after school times are available. Your family visit includes the following:
- A tour of our historic, 61-acre campus.
- Opportunity to talk with our Head of School and Admissions Director.
- Help us learn about your child and what your family values most in education.
- Explore our classrooms, gardens, and outdoor teaching spaces.
- Learn more about the Woodlawn Way of nurturing children and partnering with parents.
Step Two: Meet Our Teachers
A special time to meet our classroom teachers, learn more about project-based learning and methods of teaching our school culture. These visits will be on campus after school, starting at 3:15 pm. A meet the teacher event will ensure your application receives special consideration in our early application program.
Early Application Program:
We are confident that your tour and the time you spend with our teachers will enable you to see why so many Woodlawn families reenroll year after year and why there are limited seats available. The Early Application Program allows you to apply early (by January 22) and receive an admissions decision on February 5, 2021. Early applicants will have priority status on Waiting Lists, based on the date we receive the application.
Early Application Timeline
January 22, 2021 - Woodlawn Early Application Deadline
February 5, 2021 - Early Applicants notified of admissions decision
Step Three: Woodlawn Connections
Prospective families will virtually meet current Woodlawn families and students. This allows students and parents to gain a better feel for the social dynamic while learning more about the value of a Woodlawn education. Families will also be able to explain campus events and Woodlawn traditions. They are also a great resource to discuss any questions you may have about life at Woodlawn.
